Arashiyama/Tenryuji Temple Tour
Harmony with nature, taste the elegance of Japanese gardens

Plan Details

Cherry blossoms in spring, fresh greenery in summer, autumn leaves in autumn, snowy mountains in winter... Arashiyama offers a taste of all four seasons. Its vegetation is four times more diverse than that of Europe. With the Hozu River flowing through it, and bordered by the Kyoto basin and mountains, Arashiyama has been a very popular tourist destination for aristocrats since the Heian period (794-1185).

The Sogenchi Garden at Tenryuji Temple is a garden that incorporates nature directly into art through 'borrowed scenery'. Enjoy the Japanese art of the garden, which is a perfect fusion of nature and art.
