Kyoto is dotted with numerous public bathhouses. There are more than 150, each with its own unique bath, architecture and history. This tour takes you on a city tour of seven sentō and sentō-related spots in Kita-ku, Kyoto, a "hotly contested area for sentō". All of the spots are fascinating, including a number of hole-in-the-wall public bathhouses loved by local residents, unique cafés that have been renovated from public bathhouses, and a public bathhouse designated as a national cultural asset that has been in existence since the Taisho era. We will help you to find a great sento to relieve the pleasant fatigue of your Kyoto city walk.

20-8 days ago. 50%
7 to 3 days ago. 70%
2 days before - on the day (before the start time): 100%
No notice cancellation / 100% after start
*A reservation is considered confirmed when we contact you (in writing or by email, etc.) to confirm your reservation after you have made a formal application.
*Cancellations will only be handled on the same day if received during business hours .
* The customer will be responsible for any bank transfer fees incurred during refunds.

・The event will be held rain or shine. If a warning or advisory is issued, the event will be canceled. If the event is canceled, you will be notified by 8:00 p.m. the night before the start time.

#1 Daitokuji Onsen
A public bathhouse in a building on the first floor of an apartment building. It is the perfect place to stop by while exploring Daitokuji Temple.
#2 Murasakino Onsen
This is also a public bathhouse in a building. It is located in a corner of a residential area and has a townhouse-like appearance.
#3 Monzen Onsen
A public bathhouse located along Shin-Omiya-dori Street. Its charm lies in its retro illuminated signboard.
#4 Kinryuyu
This public bathhouse with 90 years of history sits quietly in a residential area. The tile paintings that have been there since the bathhouse first opened are impressive.
#5 Sarasa Nishijin
This retro public bathhouse cafe was renovated from the former Fujimori Onsen. Its stately presence and colorful tiled interior are captivating.
#6 Funaoka Onsen
Founded in 1923, Sento of Sento celebrates its 100th anniversary this year. It is the third public bath in Japan to be registered as a tangible cultural property by the government.
